Period: permits with an application date from 2025-10-27 to 2026-10-21, all statuses.
Which permits count: residential permits whose description matches the trade keywords below (matched on the permit description: shutter|storm panel|accordion|roll.?down). Areas are assigned by the permit's ZIP code: Riverview = 33569, 33578, 33579; Valrico = 33594, 33596; Apollo Beach = 33572; Brandon = 33510, 33511; Lithia = 33547.
Contractor counts are distinct contractor names on those permits. A median is shown only when at least 10 permits carry a declared value, and a middle-half range only when at least 20 do. Declared values are what was written on the permit application; they are not quotes, invoices or what homeowners paid.
